Great Western Trail Tackled!
The team has completed post production on our first feature length documentary Losing The Way with distribution through Summer Hill Entertainment. We accomplished the world’s first through drive of the Great Western Trail. Set to be released in 2019, Losing The Way follows the adventure of two young explorers, Katie and Cole, as they attempt to drive across the American West solo in their Toyota 4Runner. The adventurers plot a route along the Great Western Trail, a 50 mile corridor established by Congress that runs from the US-Mexico border in Arizona to the US-Canada Border in Idaho. This route has never been done before in a 4x4 vehicle, so Katie and Cole must plot and follow a route staying within the corridor and using as many remote dirt roads as possible. These goals come with significant challenges, from incorrect maps and closed roads, to roads blocked by snow and dangerous mountain traverses. They cross deserts, plains, mountains, and forests as they make their way north, fighting against natural, man-made, and personal challenges to reach their goal.
